Homemade Remineralizing Toothpaste
by Amy Love, Real Food Whole Health

Ingredients:
3 Tablespoons pure baking soda
Dash of fine ground unrefined sea salt (like Celtic or Real Salt)
5 + drops pure peppermint essential oil
1 TBL Dr. Bronner’s peppermint castille soap
5 + drops ConcenTrace Trace Mineral Drops or Cell Food
5-6 Tablespoons organic coconut oil

Directions:
Mix all ingredients together using a spoon or handheld immersion blender (this works great in a wide mouth Mason jar). Adjust coconut oil for desired consistency and add peppermint essential oil to suit your tastes.

We think it tastes just fine as is, but if you need it a tad sweeter, then you can add a drop or two of stevia (I recommend Stevita or Mother Nature’s brand) or a little bit of xylitol. If you add xylitol, do not swallow it and do not allow pets to access it- xylitol is toxic to pets.
