Gremolata

This delightful little mixture is perfect sprinkled over soups, stews, braised dishes, grilled meats or sauteed veggies. It livens things up and adds a refreshing zing that dances in your mouth. This recipe takes just seconds to whip up and uses ingredients you probably often have on hand.

by Amy Love, Real Food Whole Health

Ingredients:
1/4 cup finely chopped organic parsley
1 clove organic garlic, finely minced
Zest of 1 organic lemon
, minced
1/2 tsp unrefined sea salt

Directions:
Combine the parsley, garlic and lemon zest on a wooden cutting board.
With a large chefs knife, chop through all ingredients together, running the knife over and over in various directions to uniformly chop everything together.  Put the gremolata in a small ramekin and season with unrefined sea salt.
