How to Make a Simple Gremolata

Gremolata

This delightful little mixture is perfect sprinkled over soups, stews, braised dishes, grilled meats or sauteed veggies. It livens things up and adds a refreshing zing that dances in your mouth. This recipe takes just seconds to whip up and uses ingredients you probably often have on hand.

Simple Gremolata

Ingredients:
1/4 cup finely chopped organic parsley
1 clove organic garlic, finely minced
Zest of 1 organic lemon
, minced
1/2 tsp unrefined sea salt

Directions:
Combine the parsley, garlic and lemon zest on a wooden cutting board.
With a large chefs knife, chop through all ingredients together, running the knife over and over in various directions to uniformly chop everything together.  Put the gremolata in a small ramekin and season with unrefined sea salt.
Store, covered, in the fridge until ready to serve.
