Hi,
I shared my videos from making pecan crusted apple crisp and grain-free matzoh balls as well as an article about farm subsidies. I also shared my 5 reasons for a grain-free challenge this month!

I posted an awesome immune-boosting, kid-friendly recipe with a bone broth (chicken broth base). Tired and true (my taste tester was my two year old – with a nasty cold!) :)

Hi Amy,
I’m sharing my daughter’s post she wrote sharinghow she made Swedish cinnamon rolls last year before we went grain free. They were healthier than regular cinnamon rolls since they were made of whole grains and un-refined sugar..We ate them as an occasional special treat..

Wendy (The Local Cook) September 30, 2011 at 9:17 am

Thanks for hosting! I love link ups where recipes like my Turnip and Turnip Greens Soup post will be appreciated. On some of the “regular” recipe carnivals I have a feeling people would rather eat roadkill than turnips LOL.

I’ve posted about real food planning. How important it is to plan ahead if you are trying to eat real foods and what to do when those plan go awry. You’ll also find a recipe for barbecued chicken sandwiches. Thanks for letting me share!
