I’ve been carrying this in my purse lately, and it’s come in really handy several times. I’ve used the CrisisCalm a couple of times  when traveling has been especially stressful- it’s a great flower essence remedy that’s very gentle and I find to be very effective.  Matt was working out in the garage and smashed his finger,  so it was Hypericum to the rescue. We’ve also just started CrossFit (an intense fitness program) so you know that Arnica was our new best friend!

The biggest “save” came last week.  The weather was gorgeous and we went out to a local farm-to-table restaurant we like. We sat out on the patio where I was completely attacked by mosquitoes.  At the time I didn’t realize it, but I got dozens of bites.

The NaturoKit came through for me.

First, I made a charcoal poultice – by mixing the contents of the activated charcoal tablet with a little water, spreading it on the bites and letting it dry. Then I coated a cotton ball with a bit of the Calendula tincture and rubbed it over the bites. Then I coated them with the Wild Weed Salve and took Apis internally to help combat the stinging and burning itch from the bites. It was so nice to have everything on hand, right there in one package, to take care of these bites right away. I know that is what helped them heal faster!

We’re heading up to Maine next week for my birthday and I know that the NaturoKits Basic First Aid kit will be right there in my bag as we explore the coast!
